WIRES relies heavily on the generosity of caring people every day for support because we are a charity not a government service.We are in need of funds to help keep our services free of charge to each person who needs us.
Calls to the WIRES Rescue Call Centre have increased substantially from the same time last year. At WIRES, our volunteers are getting ready to train over 600 new volunteers across the state to ensure that we are as equipped as possible to continue rescuing and rehabilitating wildlife. This work is costly but vital to WIRES.
